Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

In short: this site has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and sets no cookies. We keep your email address only if you sign up for the newsletter or take the Eligibility quiz, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.

The Eolisia Project (eolisia.com) is a work of fiction and storytelling by Naya Korin. This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit the site or use its forms, why, who else handles it, and what rights you have.

Who is responsible

The Eolisia Project, operated by Naya Korin (“we”, “us”), decides how your personal data is used on this site. To ask anything about your data, use the contact form.

What we collect, and why

Visiting the site

Like every website, our server records technical details of each request: your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type. We use them only to keep the site secure and working. Web server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days; other technical logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure site.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we collect your email address. We send you a confirmation email and add you to the list only after you click the link in it (double opt-in). Addresses that are never confirmed are not used to send anything and may be deleted. We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Eligibility quiz

If you take the quiz on The System page, we collect your email address and your answers to its five questions. This adds you to a separate list and starts a short series of automated emails that are part of the story. The quiz is fiction: your answers are used only to run this experience and not to make any real-world decision about you. Each email contains an unsubscribe link. We keep this data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Legal basis: your consent.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, email address and message, and use them only to reply. The message is delivered to the site owner by email. We keep it for as long as needed to deal with your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your message.

Spam protection

The forms use a short-lived token, a hidden field and request counters (your IP address and the time, kept for no more than 48 hours) to block automated abuse. When you submit a form, our application log also records the time, your IP address and the details needed to process the request, such as the email address you entered. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising tools, and does not load social-media trackers. Fonts and images are hosted on our own server. We do not sell your data and never use it for advertising.

Who else handles your data

The site also links to other websites, such as eolisia.info, LinkedIn and Facebook. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Some of these providers may process data in other countries, including outside the European Economic Area, under safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. See their policies for details.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time (for example with the unsubscribe link in any email). To use any of these rights, contact us through the contact form. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to our servers and mail accounts is restricted, and we keep only the data we need. No online service can be completely secure, but we take reasonable care.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
